Return Policy
I want you to be happy with your purchase. Please be sure to gently open and inspect all products before popping the tags and washing, trying on, or storing as a size up for your child. Please view laundering suggestions here. To initiate a return, please email julie@takemyhand.baby with your order number and the items you'd like to return. I provide free size exchanges on your first order, so if you'd like to change sizes, pop me an email as well!
Return Policy
Returns will be accepted on any unwashed, unworn item with the tags still attached within fourteen days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, please email julie@takemyhand.baby within 14 days of package receipt. There is a $7 return fee that will be deducted from your refund.
Returns will be denied if the item arrives having clearly been washed or worn. Signs of wear include strong perfume scents, a smoke scent (cigarette or otherwise), makeup stains, baby-related stains, or any other stain. Please be mindful of this if you choose to try the item on, or consider comparing the garment to an existing garment that fits well before wearing.
Refunds will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the return.
Sale items are final sale and not eligible for returns. If our automated return software mistakenly accepts a return on a sale item, the return will be canceled.
Exchanges
Size exchanges are free on your first order, providing stock allows. If there is no stock to make the desired exchange, you can return the item for store credit. No return fee applies. One free size exchange per street address. Forward your order confirmation with “EXCHANGE” in the subject line and details of the requested exchange to julie@takemyhand.baby. Emails must be sent within fourteen days of order delivery.

Outside of the first free size exchange, exchanges are not offered. If you would like a different size than what you purchased, initiate a return for the incorrect item and place a new order for the correct size.
Faulty Items
If you mistakenly receive an item with a manufacturer’s defect, keep the tag on, save the poly bag, and do not wash or wear it. Contact julie@takemyhand.baby by forwarding your order confirmation with “DEFECT” in the subject line and a picture or two of the defect within 14 days of order delivery.
A defect means that your garment was received with the fault. A fault is not something that arises out of misuse or improper washing. Please inspect garments upon arrival, and if you’ve bought a size up for your child, please remove it from the poly bag and inspect it before putting it in storage.
All of our garments are manufactured and handled in smoke-free facilities. Unfortunately, sometimes while in transit, clothing can pick up scents, including cigarette smoke. This is not considered an item defect/fault and Take My Hand is not responsible for scents picked up in transit.
Excessive returns threaten the survival of any small business. Take My Hand reserves the right to terminate a relationship with any customer requesting excessive returns.
